Gia is so lovely and knowledgeable about hair! She consistently creates good looks and recommends products that actual work! My hair is difficult and I have had issues with stylists previously dealing with my hair… not Gia! She makes it look beautiful each time.

Helped me step out of my boundaries and suggested I get curls with my haircut. I've had issues getting curls in the past because of my thick hair and it always ends up slightly wavy instead. She got the curls to stay, even with the rainy weather! The haircut was also very relaxing and turned out great. Thank you so much!

A Healing Experience at Phia Salon with JazmenMy first visit to Phia Salon with Jazmen was last Sunday for a consultation. I came in feeling broken—emotionally and physically—after a horrible color experience at another well-known salon in the Short North. My hair was a Brillo pad mess of pink and burgundy, completely traumatized and desperately in need of care.To my surprise and relief, Jazmen found a way to squeeze me back in later that same day. From the moment she began assessing my hair, she asked thoughtful questions, truly listened, and smiled with reassurance. Her knowledge, care, and professionalism were so powerful that I now call her Dr. Jazmen.Maria, the assistant helping her that day, was full of light and energy. She followed Jazmen’s direction seamlessly and made the whole visit feel calm, warm, and smooth.There were laughs, good music, and so much kindness—but what stood out most was that Jazmen didn’t just transform my hair. She impacted my heart. Even my fiancé was moved to tears when we left. It was that powerful.Phia Salon is lucky to have someone like Jazmen—a beautiful person with a rare and extraordinary set of skills.
